Camp Christina: Team Building

Ms. Rena
Recently, 6th grade went on a team building field study. Briana Llager, a 6th grade student, said her most exciting activity was ziplining, because “it was a thriller.” Briana said she had so much fun on this field study, because “we were able to team up against other people.” She learned how it’s important to work together in these activities.

Hailey Spencer said her most exciting activity was paintball, because “she didn’t know what would happen.” Hailey said she had so much fun ziplining because she was with her friends.

Bella Busciglio said that the most exciting thing for her was rock climbing, because she reached the top. Bella said she had a blast and enjoyed ziplining because it was

“fun to feel the wind blow through her hair.”

I asked Ms. Rena, a 6th grade teacher, why she picked this field study. Ms. Rena said because

“it shows how well students work as a team. The students learn how to build character and be part of a team.”

She has found that the students favorite is paintballing. Camp Christina is a fun field study and a highlight of the 6th grade year.
