A Native American powwow is a celebration of heritage and traditions. It is a way for Native Americans to connect with each other while keeping their culture alive through dance, song and storytelling. The fifth graders had the opportunity to be a part of the Panokee Tribe’s powwow on their field study. Students joined in on the celebration of Native American culture.
